Aperam reduces alloy surcharges

French stainless steel producer Aperam is decreasing June alloy surcharges for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe. The steelmaker is reducing these by €22/tonne ($23) on average for 304 and implementing steeper reductions for other grades due to strong raw materials price decreases, Kallanish notes.
