Angel Nickel prepares for full production in August
Australia-listed Nickel Mines has started to test the fourth rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) line at it 80%-owned Angel Nickel Project in Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
Four identical RKEFs at the project combine 36,000 tonnes/year capacity for nickel contained in nickel pig iron (NPI). The first production was achieved in February, and the company expected to ship products from this month (see Kallanish passim).
