AMNS India contracts Danieli for pre-expansion caster upgrade
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India has contracted Danieli Automation to upgrade three conventional slab casters in operation at steelmaking plant #1 at Hazira.
The scope of supply includes Level 2 systems consisting of process control models and production tracking capabilities. Dedicated models will manage the cooling process and quality assessment of cast slab, with specific cut-optimisation modules, Danieli tells Kallanish.
