AMKR ramps up production in first quarter
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased production in March compared to the previous month, the company tells Kallanish.
The steelmaker hiked crude steel production by 61% on-month and 61% on-year to 124,000 tonnes. Rolled steel production rose 59% on-month and 56.8% on-year to 116,000t.
Pig iron production in March amounted to 138,000t, up 19% on-month and 27% on-year. Iron ore concentrate output increased to 651,000t, up 13.8% on-month and 52.4% on-year. …
