Algerian Qatari Steel resumes exports after pause
Following maintenance during Ramadan and the subsequent Eid holiday, Algerian Qatari Steel has entered the export market, participants inform Kallanish.
The company is offering both rebar and wire rod at $575/tonne fob for shipments in May, saying it has sold some volumes to the UK, Italy, Baltic and Scandinavian countries. It also expects to close a deal to Romania, where it recently acquired certification.
