Algerian ore mine retains target despite slow start

The Algeria-based Gara Djebilet iron ore mine, which started exploitation in mid-2022, is still targeting to reach production of 2-3 million tonnes/year by 2025. The director of the mine explained last week in an interview that since the start of the operations at the mine a little over a year ago, output has reached 250,000t.
