Wugang begins installation of Fangchenggang CRC mill

Central China’s Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wugang) has begun installation of a 2.1 million tonnes/year cold rolling line at its Fangchenggang greenfield integrated steelworks project in the southern province of Guangxi. Its commissioning in May 2015 could be the first phase of a major regional shift in steel capacity southwards as Wugang and Baosteel invest in major steelworks in the region, Kallanish notes.
