US blocks Chinese wire rod
The USA has begun erecting effective trade barriers against Chinese wire rod with the Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finding dumping margins of up to 110.25% on Tuesday, Kallanish observes. Countervailing duties could be added to the anti-dumping duties after an earlier finding suggested subsidy rates of up to 81.36%.
