RINL furthers expansion plans with sections mill commission
India’s state-owned longs maker Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has launched into operation a new 700,000 tonnes/year sections mill at its Vizag Steel works in Andhra Pradesh. Sri Rakesh Singh, secretary of the Ministry of Steel, commissioned the reheat furnace of the Rupee 12.6 billion ($206 million) expansion project on Tuesday, the company says.
