RINL exports surge in nine months, Sri Lanka rolling mill to launch in February
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) registered a 36% year-on-year growth in steel exports in April-December 2014. This bucked the trend in India which as a whole exported 5.3% less steel in the period, Kallanish learns from the Indian steelmaker.
The company has not provided a tonnage for the exports. In fiscal year (FY) 2014 (through March 2014) RINL posted an export turnover of INR 747 crores ($119.25 million).
