Posco to shut down a plate mill
South Korean steelmaker Posco Steel will close the No. 1 heavy plate plant at its Pohang Steel Works entirely.
Posco said at a press conference last week that the No. 1 heavy plate production plant, which had been damaged by floods in September, will not be restarted.
