Kumba sees iron ore production grow, turnover fall in 2014
Anglo American’s Kumba project in South Africa saw iron ore production and export sales grow strongly in 2014, the miner says in its year-end operating results monitored by Kallanish. The tumbling seaborne iron ore price took its toll however as the year progressed and the company saw its revenue, operating profit and earnings all fall.
