Shanghai steel e-commerce trade rises in 2016
In 2016 Shanghai's steel e-commerce trade volume reached CNY 486.28 billion ($70.7 billion), accounting for 24.25% of total steel market transactions, according to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. There are about 300 e-commerce steel trading platforms in China currently, with the major platforms mainly located in Shanghai, Kallanish notes.
