XTC expands LFP, ternary cathode material production
XTC New Energy Materials (Xiamen) is investing CNY 990 million ($141.26m) to build a 30,000-tonne capacity expansion project for high-nickel ternary cathode materials in the No. 9 workshop of Haijing Base. Concurrently, it is forming a joint venture with Yahua Lithium and Xiamen Cangya Investment to construct a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material production line with an annual output of 100,000 t.
