Volvo Cars more than doubles BEV sales in January
Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars started 2023 by more than doubling its all-electric vehicle (BEV) sales, led by Europe, the US, and China, Kallanish reports.
The company sold 7,874 BEVs in January, up 151.8% on-year to a global market share of 16.2%. The largest growth was recorded in the Chinese market, where sales jumped 195.4%, albeit to the lowest sales volume of 319 units.
