Volvo Cars invests in UK’s online car marketplace carwow
UK-based online marketplace carwow has secured an undisclosed equity investment from Volvo Cars Tech Fund, the Swedish carmaker said on Tuesday.
The strategic minority stake will give Volvo Cars insights in areas such as online sales, customer acquisition and content creation, as the company shifts its sales towards online and direct customer relationships. By 2025, at least 50% of all Volvo Cars sales should be done online, Kallanish notes.
