Volvo Cars’ EV sales highest among peers at 25%
Volvo Cars said Friday it has the highest electrification share, as a proportion of total sales, among traditional carmakers at 25%, Kallanish reports.
The company posted its best half-year results in terms of sales and operating profit in its 94-year history amid increasing demand for its cars across all regions. Sales of fully electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid cars (PHEV) grew significantly to make up a quarter of the carmaker’s global sales.
