Volvo Cars’ EV market share rises to 31.5% in October
Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars continues to see growth in the uptake of its electric cars, with both BEVs and PHEVs accounting for 31.5% of its total global car sales in October.
The remarkable market share reflects the strong demand for the so-called Recharge vehicles, despite a 22.2% decline in the company’s total sales. In October, Volvo Cars sold 2,841 BEVs, compared to 4 in the same month last year.
