Volvo Cars enter new phase of collaboration with StoreDot
Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars is entering a new strategic collaboration agreement with Israeli battery technology start-up StoreDot, advancing the sampling of extreme fast charging (XFC) cells.
The companies signed a “multi-year” agreement to develop an optimised battery for next-generation Volvo cars, tailored for future BEV architectures. The first samples will be delivered for testing next year, StoreDot says in a statement.
