Volkswagen Group bets on in-house autonomous driving expertise
German carmaker Volkswagen is betting on mostly in-house software development for its autonomous driving, company’s management board member Markus Duesmann said this week.
Speaking at an industry event, Duesmann, who’s also the chairman of Audi and in charge of R&D, said: “We’ll make the bulk of the software on our own in the future.”
