USGS, Washington Geological Survey conducting geophysical flights
The US Geological Service and the Washington Geological Survey are conducting low-level helicopter flights to collect geophysical data in northeast Washington state, Kallanish reports.
The flights to collect airborne magnetic and radiometric data will continue through late November until winter weather impacts safe aircraft operation and data quality. If needed, the flights could resume in June or July 2023 when weather would again be favourable, the agencies say.…
