University of Aberdeen gets funding to research new hydrogen production route
The University of Aberdeen has been granted £220,000 ($269,351) in funding by the UK government to develop a new hydrogen production process from organic waste, Kallanish reports.
The grant under the £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) will support research that could see the organic matter in food waste, manure, wastewater, and other biodegradable wastes converted to hydrogen, the Scottish university says.
