UK’s Lotus to start production of first BEV SUV model in China
British premium carmaker Lotus unveiled this week its first all-electric SUV, kickstarting a new era for the traditional sports hypercar manufacturer owned by China’s Geely Holding.
The Eletre SUV, premiered in London and priced at £100,000 ($131,311), is now available for orders with a reservation fee of £2,000. First deliveries of the five-seater are planned for next year in China, UK and Europe, Kallanish reports.
