UK’s BEV sales surge despite worst January in 51 years
The UK car industry has seen the worst start to the year since 1970 this January, with the new car market diving 39.5% as showrooms across the country remain shut. Yet, sales of new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) surged 54.4% in the month to take 6.9% of the market, Kallanish reports.
