UK to fund 20-MW green hydrogen project in South Wales
Trafigura says its hydrogen joint venture with H2 Europe, H2 Energy Europe, has secured financial backing from the UK government to build the first large-scale green hydrogen plant in South Wales.
The undisclosed funding agreement is expected to be signed in January, with a final investment decision (FDI) to follow in the first quarter of 2024. The award will come from the Hydrogen Business Model and Net Zero Hydrogen Fund.
