UK public charger installation hits record in Q3
UK electric vehicle charger installation surged in the third quarter with 4,753 new deployments, making it the largest-ever quarterly delivery, Kallanish reports.
According to the automotive industry trade body SMMT, the new installations equate to one new standard public chargepoint for every 26 new plug-in cars. This is an improvement on the 1:38 ratio seen in July-September 2022.
