UK cuts EV grant to focus on more affordable uptake

The UK government announced Wednesday new cuts on incentives to zero-emission vehicles, citing the need to make funding stretch further, Kallanish reports. Under the revised plug-in grant scheme, drivers can claim up to £1,500 ($1,983) for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) that cost no more than £32,000.
