UAW may target additional US automakers, including Tesla
While the United Auto Workers’ union reached tentative agreements with the Detroit Three, it is now said to be setting its sights on other US automakers – including Tesla.
Bloomberg reported Monday that Tesla’s plant in Fremont, California is currently hosting a UAW organising committee. That plant employs 20,000 workers, and Tesla employs tens of thousands more workers across Texas, Nevada, California and New York.
