Toyota to launch new FCEV Crown model this autumn
Toyota is planning to launch a new fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) model this year under its Crown brand, as part of a three-model launch announced last year, Kallanish reports.
The hydrogen-powered sedan will be launched this autumn alongside a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) variant. The five-seater will feature Toyota’s proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell technology and complement Toyota’s second-generation Mirai offering.
