Toyota aims to chase BYD
Japanese automaker Toyota recently released an ambitious sales target to catch up with leading Chinese automaker BYD. The company's goal is to launch 10 new battery electric vehicles by 2026 and reach annual EV sales of 1.5 million units, Kallanish learns.
