Tianchen, CATL sign energy storage procurement deal
Tianchen Green Energy Technology, the subsidiary of Chinese real state and logistics company Shanghai Tianchen, has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with CATL, Kallanish learns.
The deal covers the potential procurement of at least 1 gigawatt-hour of CATL products for energy storage projects. The agreement is valid for 36 months after the signing on 10 November. The ultimate goal is for CATL to supply 5 GWh of batteries to Tianchen.
