Tesla to recall nearly 4,000 Cybertrucks over accelerator fault
Tesla will recall 3,878 of its Cybertruck models due to risks related to vehicle speed control, according to the US’ National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle (NHTSA).
A recall note seen by Kallanish states the accelerator pedal pad may dislodge and become trapped by the interior trim. This can “cause the vehicle to accelerate unintentionally, increasing the risk of a crash,” it adds.
