Tesla to enter Indian market in 2021
India’s transport minister Nitin Gadkari has said Tesla is set to make its debut in the Indian market early this year, starting with sales operations.
Speaking to local media, the minister said the US electric carmaker would push for sales before moving towards assembly and manufacturing in the country. The idea is supposedly to test the market and affordability first, Kallanish notes.
