Tesla leads UK's new BEV car market in 2022
Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3 ranked the first and second most sold cars in the UK in December, whilst topping the BEV sales ranking in 2022, Kallanish reports.
Data from the Society of Motors Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) shows 10,664 new Model Ys were registered in the UK car market last month and 5,704 new Model 3s. The models also led the top-10 best BEV sellers last year with 35,551 and 19,071 registrations, respectively.
