Swedish BEV sales up 40% in January-September
Sweden’s new battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales increased in January-September amid growing customer demand, according to European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) data.
A total of 81,210 new BEV passenger cars were sold in the country in the first nine months of the year, up by 40% on-year, Kallanish notes. In September alone, 12,500 electric cars were sold, representing an annual increase of 60.7%.
