Chilean lithium producer SQM reported net profits of $3.90 billion in 2022 compared to $855 million a year earlier, thanks to surging lithium prices and higher sales volumes, Kallanish reports.
The company’s total revenues rose 247% on-year to $10.71 billion. Lithium and derivatives accounted for $8.15 billion of total revenue, increasing 770.9% on-year.
