Czech carmaker Škoda Auto said Tuesday its battery systems production capacity will surge over 340% this year with a new assembly line at its Mladá Boleslav plant, Kallanish reports.
With this new launch, the Volkswagen Group brand will be able to produce 1,500 MEB battery systems/day. The battery systems are used in Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, and SEAT electric vehicles.
