Sila signs silicon anode supply deal with Panasonic Energy
Panasonic Energy has signed a commercial agreement with Sila, a US battery materials company, to purchase nano-composite silicon anode material for lithium-ion EV batteries.
The companies announced the move Monday. Under the agreement, Sila will produce the anode materials at its forthcoming plant in Washington state, optimising the product for Panasonic’s next-generation li-ion batteries.
