Sheinbaum’s election adds little certainty to Mexico’s EV market
Mexico’s newly-elected president, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, has just made history by becoming the first woman ever to lead the country. She’s also a scientist with a track record on energy and climate change.
Having secured nearly 60% of the votes, compared to just 27% for her closest opponent, she will count on a significant majority when she takes her post in October.
