Sayona Mining produces first lithium concentrate at Quebec project restart
Australia-based Sayona Mining says it has produced its first spodumene concentrate at its North American Lithium operation in Quebec, Kallanish reports.
About 70 tonnes of lithium concentrate has been produced at the hard-rock mine and processing plant, restarted by Sayona Mining and US-based partner Piedmont Lithium. Commissioning is proceeding according to plan, with the first saleable concentrate to be produced shortly, Sayona Mining says.
