SAIC to deliver first BEVs with solid-state batteries in 2025
Chinese automaker SAIC Group announced at a recent press conference that the first batch of mass-produced BEVs featuring solid-state batteries will be on the market as early as 2025.
The project is part of the outcome of its collaboration with Qingtao (KunShan) Energy Development through which they jointly established the solid-state battery laboratory in July 2022. Further details are yet to be shared.
