Russia’s nickel exports decrease to Europe: Eurostat
Russian exports of raw nickel to the EU countries in January amounted to 2,400 tonnes, 58% less on-year, according to Eurostat data.
In monetary terms, shipments fell to €65.1 million ($71.45m), down by 40.9%, Kallanish notes.
According to Eurostat, the main buyers of Russian raw nickel during the reporting period were the Netherlands and Spain.
