Russian BEV production rises amid government push
Russian carmakers have increased the production of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) since the beginning of the year, according to the country’s Ministry of Economic Development.
In an industry event presentation, the ministry showed that 3,187 BEVs were produced in Russia this year. A large share comes from the Moskvich Automotive Plant with 2,041 units, followed by the Motorinvest plant in Lipetsk with 1,131 units. Nine vehicles were assembled by GAZ …
