Russia to launch a hydrogen test site on Sakhalin in June

Russia plans to start operating a hydrogen engineering centre with a pilot test site in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in June, says Sakhalin governor Valery Limarenko. Hydrogen will be produced through electrolysis and will be powered by solar and wind energy. Around 600 panels with a power of 500 watts have already been delivered for a future solar farm.
