Russia increases EV sales on-year, no data for May
Russian domestic sales of electric vehicles (EVs) increased in January-May, according to data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat monitored by Kallanish.
Sales of new electric cars were up by 65% on-year to 1,119 units. However, Autostat did not provide EV sales data for May.
In April alone, Russians purchased only 180 new EVs, down by 11% on-year.
In January-May, Tesla Model Y sold 248 electric cars, followed by Tesla Model 3 with 211 units. …
