Romanian EV sales surpass 2022 total registrations
Romanian new battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales increased 52.3% on-year during January-September to 11,759 units, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).
The volume surpasses the 10,000 BEVs registered in the country last year. However, registrations in September declined 10% on-year to 1,147 BEV models, Kallanish notes.
