Rock Tech starts construction of lithium hydroxide converter in Germany

Canada-based lithium developer Rock Tech Lithium has broken ground on its first planned lithium hydroxide converter, set to start production in 2025, Kallanish reports. The $683 million project will be built in Guben, Brandenburg, eastern Germany. The plant is planned to produce 24,000 tonnes/year of lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LHM) from Q4 2025.
