Rivian said to be in talks for UK car plant
US electric vehicle start-up Rivian is reportedly discussing the construction of a car plant in the UK, as part of its plans to expand both domestically and internationally.
According to Sky News, the company is in “secret negotiations” with UK ministers and a decision to invest could come with a “big state support package.” Citing unnamed sources, the report said Rivian is also in tandem talks with Germany and the Netherlands.
