Italian certification body RINA is partnering with Swiss firm ABB to accelerate marine sector decarbonisation through fuel cell systems with carbon capture technology and other decarbonisation solutions.
The collaboration aims to promote hydrogen in ship propulsion and come up with commercially viable solutions, Kallanish notes. ABB says in a joint note that this will accelerate its commitment to electric and digital systems in the shipping industry.
