Japan’s Tohoku University scientists have recently developed micro-architected, high performing negatively charged (anode) electrodes for sodium-ion batteries with 3D technology.
According to a press release, the method enhances battery performance by increasing ion transmission density and speed, while avoiding the side effects of restricted movements of the ions and electric charges within batteries due to thicker electrodes.
